Incident: AM1, EU1 & AP1 – Print Job Delays
Date: July 1, 2026
Duration: 11:23 AM to 3:19 PM PDT
Following the BarTender Cloud 12.3 release, some customers submitting very large print jobs (approximately 2,000 or more labels in a single request) experienced delays, timeouts, or failed print jobs during the rendering process. Standard and medium-sized print jobs were not affected.
A change introduced in version 12.3 affected the way the rendering service processed exceptionally large print jobs. Under these conditions, some rendering requests exceeded the configured processing time, causing the jobs to time out before completion.
Our engineering team increased the rendering service capacity and adjusted internal processing time limits to better accommodate large print jobs. Once these changes were applied, affected print jobs completed successfully, and no further customer reports were observed.
We are implementing additional performance improvements that will be included in an upcoming release to further optimize the handling of large print jobs and improve the platform’s resilience under high-volume workloads. We will continue monitoring the platform to ensure consistent performance.
